Wavestone Capital Principal and Portfolio Manager Catherine Allfrey says the Origin Energy deal concerning $18 billion was “huge” and one of the biggest deals of the year.

“That’s huge and not really expected,” Ms Allfrey told Sky News Australia.

“That’s surprised the market.”
