Zachary Levi Responds To Rumors He’s Being Recast As Shazam Amid DC Universe Shakeup
With all the shakeups at DC Universe happening, fans are now starting to get worried about Zachary Levi‘s Shazam.
The shakeup news first started with the announcement that Henry Cavill would not return as Superman in future films, and that a sequel to Black Adam is not on the table right now.
That’s all in addition to Wonder Woman being completely shelved amid restructuring of the film franchise under James Gunn and Peter Safran.
However, Zachary seems to have calmed fans’ nervousness about him leaving the role or being recast in any way.

In the social media rumors, fans were saying that Zachary had already be recast with someone else.
However, it doesn’t seem to be true, and Zachary has responded to the worries.
“Oooh, I really wouldn’t go believing everything you see on the internet. I’m Gucci, Ash. We all Gucci.”
He’ll return as the titular superhero in the upcoming Shazam! Fury of the Gods which is out in 2023.
